Make This Unusual Knitted Duotone Striped Cowl

This delightful knitted duotone striped cowl is worked in a series of stripes.

The stripes are then switched in size halfway around the cowl.

This makes for a fun, yet stylish knitted cowl that really stands out.

Once completed, this lovely striped cowl should measure approx. 9.5 inches wide and have a circumference of about 30 inches.

The measurements are before the cowl has been blocked.

Do you prefer metric measurements? The finished knitted two-colored cowl should have a width of about 24 cm. The circumference should be about 76 cm.

The duotone knitted cowl is one continuous loop that has been created by grafting the ends of the stockinette tube.

To graft the two ends together, the Kitchener stitch has been used.

Not familiar with this grafting technique? Here is a great video tutorial: The Kitchener Stitch [A How To Video Tutorial].

This delightful striped cowl in two colors is designed by Orange Flower Yarn.
