Learn How To Do A Three Needle Bind Off

The three needle bind off is used to join two different sets of live stitches together. This bind-off method is often used at the shoulder to join the front and back of a sweater.

The result of using this bind-off method is a neat, solid seam.

It is important to remember that if you want the seam on the inside of the fabric, you hold the right sides of the knitting together before you bind off.

Conversely, holding the wrong sides together before you bind off, will give you a seam on the outside of the fabric.
