Learn How You Can Be Spit Splicing Yarn
Unfortunately, as we know, yarn balls are not infinite and they run out. In this video tutorial, we will show you can be spit splicing yarn when you are in the middle of your knitting project.
There are many different ways of joining a new ball of yarn. We have previously featured two basic joining methods as well as the Russian Join.

A fourth technique for attaching a new ball of yarn is Spit Splicing. This method of joining two yarn balls only works if you are using 100% animal fibers.

My Grandma always used to use this method, but when I have tried I was unsuccessful, I will have to try again. It certainly makes a neat join.
