Lulu, the little French girl who knits, is back in time for the holidays in “Lulu and Lainey … a Christmas Yarn”, a sweet children’s picture book for all the young knitters on your gift list
Here’s a holiday treat – Lulu and Lainey … a Christmas Yarn ebook is $0.99 (or £0.99) until December 16!
This wonderful new children’s picture book from Lois Petren, Lulu and Lainey … a Christmas Yarn, is the latest installment in the story of Lulu, a little French girl who loves to knit with her grandmother.
It’s the week before Christmas and Lulu wants to knit a special scarf for her best friend. While visiting her grandmother, Grand-mère’s cat steals her favorite ball of yarn and it gets lost.
With all the excitement of holiday preparations, the yarn is forgotten until Christmas Eve night when it reappears and is found by a very special visitor.
All is made right in the end and only the reader, the cat and the “special” visitor know what happened! This is such a fun romp of a book – perfect for all the young readers (and knitters) on your holiday gift list!
This sweet book introduces young readers to some of the holiday traditions of France, including leaving shoes on the hearth for Père Noël to fill with candy and baking the annual bûche de Noël.
Tanja Russita’s charming illustrations bring this unique story to life. It is a book that is sure to become an annual holiday favorite.
