Make These 5 Different Knitted Preemie Hats For Charity
If you would like to do your bit for charity, these knitted preemie hats is a great way to start.
The designer responsible for these 5 great preemie hats that you can knit for charity is Carissa Browning.
She has written a great knitting pattern for 5 different hats that is suitable for beginners to knit.
If you don’t have double pointed knitting needles, you can use a circular needle. As it will probably be too long for this project, you can use a magic loop.
Not familiar with knitting a magic loop? You can find a great video tutorial here: Simple Magic Loop [Knitting Help: Video].
You can download the pattern for these lovely knitted preemie hats from Love Knitting.

Hi Florence,
Thank you for contacting The Knitting Space. I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble downloading the pattern. To get the pattern, simply click on the highlighted link at the bottom of the post. When you do, you’ll be directed to the designer page which is LoveCrafts. You would need to be signed into Lovecrafts’ website to be able to download any patterns from them.
Have you tried downloading any LoveCrafts patterns before? If yes, then you’d simply have to press the button “View in Library” Scroll down a bit and you’ll see the pattern, click that and it will get saved on your device.
If you haven’t downloaded anything from LoveCrafts before, then you will need to sign up with them. It is completely FREE to sign up and you can use either your Gmail or Facebook account in signing up.
I know there’s a bit of hoop to go through to get the pattern, we apologize for that. However, that’s just the initial steps. Once you have an account and it is saved on your Ipad, you’ll be able to download patterns quicker from this designer the next time you want to get a pattern.
Hope this helps,
Ann
Do you know of an organization which accepts preemie hats. I have contacted my local hospitals and am awaiting a response. I discovered nitbig for little lungs but I can’t seem to contact anyone from them. My daughter recently had an amazing experience in the hospital and which she is volunteering and it motivated me to start knitting preemie hats. I need someplace that will accept them. I am willing to ship them.
