Make These Vintage Knit Tootsies Toasters
These knit tootsies toasters are a blast from the past. The pattern for these knitted slippers have been adapted from a vintage 1960’s typewritten pattern.
It is Meg Strong who is behind this great adaptation. Originally, it was suggested that the slippers would take about 5 hours to knit. Apparently they were meant to be for TV watching.
The new, adapted version of the pattern is for three different sizes: Small (5/6), medium (7/8) and large (9/10). They have been knitted in a worsted wool yarn.

Thank you for allowing me to print off this slipper pattern – I am keen to knit these slippers for use in an Aged Care Facility. Cheers Ailsa
