Make This Fun Knit Starflower Dishcloth And Learn Some Great New Techniques Along The Way!

Unusually, the knit starflower dishcloth has been knitted in the round, from the center outwards.

The border is then knitted sideways all the way around the circle.

You need to cast on using a circular casting on. This involves making a “magic ring”.

If you are not familiar with this casting-on technique, it is explained very well in the video below.

The video tutorial also explains how to increase your stitches to make the round disc in the middle.

It then goes on to show you how to make the great “border” using a chart.

It has been made using Knit Picks’ Dishi Yarn. This is a 100% worsted weight cotton perfect for making dishcloths.
