    Are you able to help me calculate this pattern to fit a child with 18cm foot length please…I am trying to make matching pairs for my granddaughters for Christmas but am falling at the firstars hurdle

    Sally Carr – The first thing we need to know is the gauge of the yarn you are using. You will need to knit a swatch and measure how many stitches and rows there are in 10cm by 10cm or 4 inches by 4 inches, Hope that helps…

    I’m wondering also how to make these slippers for a 12 month or a small child’s size.
    Didn’t see any further info from this asked before, I saw it says you can make pattern in any size but have no idea how to adjust the stitches between the marker and how many to cast on. any help is appreciated.
    I don’t know how I would see if you reply or if you need a email address
