The knitting pattern has been rated as intermediate. So, this is a great dishcloth to knit for anyone who wants to challenge themselves a little.

The checkerboard dishcloth has been worked first. Then stitches are picked up around it and an applied icord is worked. Finally, a little loop is added so it can be hung up.

Once completed, this interesting dishcloth should measure about 7.5 inches square.

In metric measurements, the finished knitted dishcloth should be approx. 19 cm square.
