Keep Warm On Chilly Nights With This Knit Hot Water Bottle Cover
This classic turtleneck style knit hot water bottle cover is perfect for snuggling up to during those last chilly nights before the spring kicks in for full.
One of these knit hot water bottle covers will also make the perfect get-well gift for a friend who is in need of some comfort.
The pattern’s stretch rib opening not only keeps the sweater in place, but also allows for easy removal.
It has been designed for a 1.75 quart (or 1.7 liter) hot water bottle, but can easily be adapted to any size bottle.
The cover has been knitted on 16 inch (40 cm) circular needles in size 5.5 mm (US 9). You will also need a third needle of any size for the 3-needle bind-off (fully explained in the pattern).
The yarn used is 1 ball of Red Heart Soft, Light Grey Heather. However, you can use any yarn you like to fit the gauge: 17 sts = 4 inches [10 cm]; 24 rows = 4 inches [10 cm] in Stockinette stitch.
