I don’t know about you, but I much prefer to knit on circular knitting needles whenever I can. It definitely saves on a lot of sewing.

In my opinion, the finished knitting project also looks much better when there are no seams. That is, if the rounds are joined together properly and seamlessly.

When doing circular knitting, it is very common to get a “step-effect” on the casting-on row. The  edge does not seamless join where you start the the first knitted row.
