The knitted unisex slouch hat is made using the broken rib stitch and it is completely reversible.

Not familiar with the broken rib stitch? Here is a great tutorial: Knitted Broken Rib Stitch [A How To Video Tutorial].

Once completed, the smaller version of the hat should have a circumference of 16 inches and be abut 9.5 inched tall. The larger hat should be about 17.5 inches around and 10 inches tall.

Prefer metric measurements? The finished smaller hat should measure about 40.5 cm around and 24 cm in height. The larger hat should have a circumference of 44.5 cm when finished. It should also be about 25.5 cm tall.

The measurements are taken when the hat is not stretched.

The designer responsible for this lovely broken rib hat is Jennifer Adams over at Nutty Irishman Knits.
