Make This Lovely Cowichan Knitted Reindeer Jacket

This lovely Cowichan knitted reindeer jacket takes its inspiration from the designs of the Cowichan people from Vancouver Island in British Columbia.

A knitted jacket with a fair-isle and reindeer patterns and text that says "Free Pattern: COWICHAN KNITTED REINDEER JACKET,"

This stunning knitted jacket has been worked using stranded pattern stitches.

If you would like to avoid long floats at the back of your jacket, you may want to have a look at this great video tutorial: Catch Floats In Fair Isle [A How To Knitting Tutorial].

To finish off the stunning jacket you will need to seam the sides and the sleeve undersides. We suggest you use the mattress stitch for this.

Not familiar with the mattress stitch? Here is a great  video tutorial: Mattress Stitch [A How To Tutorial].
